There is always the possibility of an unforeseen event that prevents you from going on holidays (illness, accident of a relative or friend, cancellation of holidays) loss or theft of luggage or a medical problem that requires a hospital stay or repatriation.

Being aware that this can happen to you TMS CONTACT and TROPICAL TOUR offer you 3 “Formules RUBIS” insurances :
AVANT "PLUS" : insurance “Cancellation” before the start of the journey.
PENDANT et APRES the journey : Insurance « Luggage » and insurance « Repatriation assistance » and medical costs including the reimbursement of terrestrial services not claimed due to repatriation.
MULTIRISQUES "PLUS" : Option All Inclusive AVANT, PENDANT and APRES the journey (Before, during and after) including : the insurances “Cancellation plus”, “Luggage” and “Repatriation assistance and medical costs”.

ATTENTION : According to the chosen type of journey, the insurances included in your credit card can be insufficient notably the Cancellation guarantee (very limited reimbursement in case of cancellation more than 30 days before the travel day, restricted number of motives accepted (3 to 4 motives compared 23 motives of the insurance TMS CONTACT/Tropical Tours). And keep in mind, the price of an insurance is much lower than the costs of an unexpected accident


Insurance “Cancellation PLUS” : Before the journey

TMS CONTACT reimburses the restraint penalties of the travel organizer in the following causes of cancellation :
Personal : The person supposed to accompany you or to look after you children is not available due to disease or “serious accident, fire or home burglary; serious car accident before your travel.
Medical : death, serious bodily accident or severe disease of the guarantee or one of his relatives (inclusive relapse or aggravation of disease and previous accidents) pregnancy complications, medical isolation, vaccination problems.
Administrative : robbery of your identity card within 48 hours before travel start; impossibility to obtain a visa; convocation concerning the adaptation of a child; convocation to a resit; convocation as a military reservist; conscription call; witness or juror, job or training course at the National Employment Agency.
Professional : redundancy, modification or cancellation of your holidays, severe disease of your professional substitute.

Insurance Luggage and Repatriation assistance: During and after the journey

TMS CONTACT reimburses in the following cases :

Luggage or personal property: reimbursement in the following cases :
Robbery, destruction or loss of your luggage during your transport and your travel, worldwide guarantee.
Robbery of personal effects during the transport such as : jewellery, watch, photo and video material (maximum 50% of the insured capital). Insurance – repatriation/ medical costs.
In the case of an accident on-site, TMS insures your medical costs and your sanitary repatriation.
One of your relatives can benefit from a round trip flight ticket in the case that you are hospitalized more than 3 days.
A return ticket is at your disposal in the case of disease or accident of your children left behind in France.
Main home assistance: caretaking of your home after a break-in and provision of a return ticket if your presence is required.
Reimbursement up to 152.44€ of the intervention costs of a locksmith in the case that your main home has to be opened due to a loss or robbery of your keys during the journey.
Second departure guarantee : Following a disease causing your repatriation with TMS during the first half of your organized jouney ( with the exception of journeys that include only the flight), TMS will provide a voucher valid for 1 year so that you can restart your interrupted journey.
