The bungalows of Caraïbes Bonheur are at 300m distance to the beach of Fort Royal. The beaches of Deshaies are among the most appreciated of the island. All bungalows have an evocative name like grande anse or la perle. The town of Deshaies is full of charm which is emphasized by its white sand shore, its mountains and the lively town center. You already know that by choosing one of these bungalows you will be at a magic place including a splendid view of la Tête à l’anglais.
ACTIVITES
You will find a vast overflowing swimming pool with a length of 17m and sun loungers to perfect your suntan. At leeward side, you can at the same time profit from the sea and the mountains. Your programme includes hiking on the ridge of Deshaies, the starting point of different paths. After a short walk you will also get to magnificent beaches such as Fort Royal beach. The Caribbean Sea is suitable for all kind of leisure activities; boat trip; fishing, diving (Cousteau reserve at close proximity), sailing, bodyboarding, surf, tennis, and so on. Several cultural and touristic sights are close by: Enjoy the national park (300 km of beautiful fauna and flora), the botanical garden of Deshaies ( former property of Coluche) which is a must-see, orchid mountains…
You will reside at leeward side , which means at the Caribbean Sea, in the beautiful heart of a botanical garden consisting of fruit trees and thousands of flowers. All bungalows offer an ocean view so that you can admire la Tête à l’anglais, l’îlet Kahouanne, Montserrat and its active volcano. Caraïbes Bonheur is easy to find. The bungalows are at 5 minutes distance north of the town center of Deshaies. You just have to get to Fort Royal and then the route is well indicated.
At the reception you will find a telephone, a reading and documentation corner, catering service and a washing machine (you have to pay to).
Caraïbes Bonheur comprises 20 bungalows planned for 2 to 6 persons. All bungalows are air conditioned, fully furnished, equipped with terrace and have a small private tropical garden in bloom with a view of the Caribbean Sea. All bungalows are equipped with a bathroom with shower and a fully equipped kitchen (microwave oven, fridge, freezer, dishes…). Let the air conditioner refresh yourself. Bed sheets and bath towels, a personal safe for your personal belongings are provided.
In Deshaies you will find good restaurants in abundance be it in the town center, the harbour or at the beach. Enjoy an authentic creole cuisine at Lélette or appreciate a cuisine of recognized quality at Meltipot, situated at a place called La Coque à Deshaies.
